Vision without action is just a dream, and action without vision is simply a wasted effort. Hence, it requires both to convert dreams into reality. As an educationist as well as an entrepreneur, I had the privilege of working closely on building this institution that is unique and stands apart from the crowd of run-of-the-mill institutions. The institution has been named after our Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, out of respect for his self less service to the Nation and the immense importance he placed on human hard labour and small industries at village and town levels which generate self employment and ultimately rapid industrialization of this country. His life is a mission in itself and for all humanity- not just Indians - to learn from. We have in a very short span of time built a massive world class modern Polytechnic campus in Prayagraj, very near to the city, on the main State Highway in Jhunsi going towards Phulpoor, which is equipped. This was possible because of the immense experience that Our Chairman Sir had in the field of Technical education and hard work of all the engineers, masons and work force who braved the chilly winters, heavy rains and blistering heat and many many odds to make this dream come true. I shall on my part leave no stone unturned in providing world class infrastructure in the Polytechnic and best possible academic guidance to students every time. May the spirit of this Polytechnic's Pledge - flow through us and make us better human beings and very proud Indians.
